WILDLIFE SAFARIS AND NATURE RESERVES

  • Hluhluwe - iMfolozi Park: Known as one of Africa's oldest proclaimed nature reserves, Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park is renowned for its rich wildlife and conservation efforts. Visitors can enjoy Big Five game drives, guided walks, and bird watching. The park is famous for its white rhino conservation program. 
  • uMlalazi Nature Reserve: Located near the town of Mtunzini, uMlalazi Nature Reserve offers scenic beauty with its coastal forests, mangroves, and dunes. Activities include hiking trails, bird watching, and canoeing along the uMlalazi River. 
  • Amatikulu Nature Reserve: Situated between the Tugela and Amatikulu Rivers, this reserve offers a blend of riverine, estuarine, and coastal environments. It is perfect for bird watching, game drives, and exploring the pristine beaches. 
  • Enseleni Nature Reserve: Just a short drive from Richards Bay, Enseleni Nature Reserve is ideal for day visitors interested in hiking and picnicking. The reserve is home to a variety of wildlife including zebras, impalas, and hippos, as well as numerous bird species. 
  • Dlinza Forest Nature Reserve: Located in Eshowe, Dlinza Forest Nature Reserve features a unique aerial boardwalk that offers visitors an immersive experience among the treetops. It's a great spot for bird watching, with many endemic and migratory species. 
  • Nkandla Forest: This indigenous forest, steeped in Zulu cultural history, provides a secluded environment for hiking and nature walks. It's an ideal spot for those interested in botany and ecology, offering a diverse range of plant species. E SAFARIS AND NATURE RESERVES 
  • iSimangaliso Wetland Park: Explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site with diverse ecosystems, including beaches, coral reefs, wetlands, and savannas. Activities include snorkeling, diving, and turtle tours.

Located approximately 180 km`s north east of Durban and 465 km`s south of Maputo in Mozambique on the eastern coastline.
